Compass Lightbox

Chinese scientists may have developed navigational compasses as early as the 11th or 12th century. Western Europeans soon followed at the end of the 12th century.   Compasses have helped early navigators find their way in the sea, enabling them to discover new territories. Some believe they bring good luck. This ancient symbol has been passed down through the ages.  They are like sacred heirlooms, which have become a source of inspiration for artists, tattoos, jewellery designs, and inspired the Compass Lightbox.
