Goldfish - Yellow/Orange

The goldfish - first pet of many children, living their best swimmy life in a goldfish bowl with brightly coloured ornaments and matching fish food flakes. The history of the goldfish and its evolution from a greeny/grey little fish in China to the hundreds of fancy varieties we see today worldwide is fascinating and dates back over a thousand years.  These days, goldfish come in all shapes, sizes, fin styles, eye setting configurations and colours. On average, goldfish kept in a bowl have the shortest lifespan at about five years. Goldfish living indoors in an aquarium can live up to ten years, while those kept outdoors in a water garden or pond can live at least 20 years, sometimes up to 30 or 40 years.

This cute little goldfish doesn't require any special goldfish bowl or brightly coloured food to enjoy its presence.  Hang it on its own or purchase a few and enjoy a school of fish !
