A beautiful way to remember a loved one, or pay respects to those in the service past or present, is a tealight.  The gentle flickering of the firelight creates a lovely ambience. You may wish to use a scented tealight to help create a certain mood or atmosphere.  Different scents evoke can certain feelings and emotions. (eg rose, jasmine, lavender =love.  cinnamon, eucalyptus, pine and sage = harmony and wellbeing).  In an outdoor setting citronella will assist with keeping the bugs at bay.
